MS Yoga Practices
MyMS Yoga® is an exercise program created to help you manage some of your multiple sclerosis symptoms and to stay active. Two world-renowned experts — Baron Baptiste, known by millions for his innovative approaches to yoga, and Dr. Elliot Frohman, a neurologist who specializes in treating people with multiple sclerosis — have collaborated to create this special, customized program.
MyMS Yoga uses unhurried movements, slow stretching and breathing to reduce stress and release muscle tension. This allows you to address your individual needs and proceed at your own pace. If you're having a bad day, you can modify your program and do something less intensive. On better days, you can challenge yourself to enhance your yoga capabilities.
The MyMS Yoga DVD includes three yoga practices at different levels of ability: Foundations™, Transformations™ and Restorations™.
- Foundations provides the basics of yoga and allows you to start slow and simple.
- Transformations is a more intense yoga practice with advanced poses for gaining strength and confidence.
- Restorations guides you through some very slow, relaxing and refreshing postures.
